Craig Steven Wilder is Chair of History at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a senior fellow in the Bard Prison Initiative. He has advised highly acclaimed museum exhibits, such as the New-York Historical Society’s “Slavery in New York.” He has advised numerous documentaries, including the Peabody Award-winning film “The Central Park Five.” He is the author of three books, most recently Ebony & Ivy: Race, Slavery, and the Troubled History of America’s Universities.
