Damnificados by JJ Amaworo Wilson published by PM Press. Damnificados is based on the Tower of David, an abandoned and unfinished building in Caracas, Venezuela. The story follows a group of young misfits or “Damnificados”, who take control of an abandoned skyscraper and create their own organized community that is constantly, and sometimes comically, battling against oppression and corruption from the military, the police, and dictatorial owners, all while trying to thrive.
