Imani Perry is the Hughes-Rogers Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University
and the author of six books, including Looking for Lorraine: The Radiant and Radical Life of
Lorraine Hansberry, which won the 2019 Pen America Bograd-Weld Award for biography. Her
most recent title is Breathe: A Letter to My Sons, released in September of 2019.
