Amaud Jamaul Johnson, author of Darktown Follies and Red Summer, is a former Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University. His honors include The Dorset Prize, The Pushcart Prize and The Edna Meudt Book Award. He teaches in the MFA Program in Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
