Nichelle M. Hayes MPA, MLS is the Immediate President of the Black Caucus American Library Association (BCALA) from 2022-2024 and CEO of Hayes Consulting. Experienced as an Executive focused on change management and transition as well as an Information Professional with a focus on the African Diaspora, Community Engagement, and Inclusion.
An active member of American Library Association (ALA), she has served on the “2023 ALA Nominating Committee” & “Working Group to Condemn White Supremacy and Fascism as Antithetical to Library Work” 2022 – 2023.
Hayes has received numerous honors, 2023 Culture Carrier Award Honoree and 2022 National Coalition of 100 Black Women – Breakthrough Women Award. As well as In 2021 by Library Journal Movers & Shakers – Advocates.
